Stinky Bug 03:01
Why do stink bugs get such a bad rap When I’ve never caught a whiff of their smell? I’m sick and tired of this “stink bug” crap The entomologists did not name them well Why can’t we just let them be I’ve been to Abercrombie And that smell is worse For their rep to be healed I will be their shield So let’s turn back the clock And try to reverse and lift this curse You know I would give my life For my stinky little friends It’s time to make amends For these stinky bugs These little babies aren’t always a stink It’s only when they’re threatened and scared So if you’re mean to these brown smell machines That’s when their scent will be aired So you best be prepared And pray that you’re spared You know I would give my life For my stinky little friends It’s time to make amends For these stinky bugs Why do smelly things have trouble finding love? Looking for a pet? A skunk could be one of a kind Do you mind? Let him in Let him in I would give my life For my stinky little friends It’s time to make amends You know I love Hemiptera Pentatomidae Halyomorpha, oh yeah Now that’s a stinky bug

[SPOKEN] Well, it’s another day out in the garden. Just checkin’ things out here, making sure everyone’s got what they need in order to grow awfully big and strong. But they’re not the only ones that need to be big and strong. [SUNG] If you want to be a big veggie farmer, get ready Trying to take care of these big and small crops is no joke Veggies need your care and love Dirt below and sun above But that’s not all folks! There is a secret to making these veggies grow larger And if you desire to know what that is, you must work There’s no shortcut to giant veg My techniques are cutting edge You gotta wake up for big veg There’s no time to sleep, you gotta keep a watchful eye Take a bite from the onion of truth You’ll find what you’ve grown, is more than you’ve sown, it’s no lie You gotta wake up for big veg The secret to happiness isn’t a secret to me, friends ‘Cause growing an extra large lemon’s the best thing in life Taters, carrots, and courgettes Aubergines big as corvettes You gotta wake up for big veg There’s no time to sleep, you gotta keep a watchful eye Take a bite from the onion of truth You’ll find what you’ve grown, is more than you’ve sown, it’s no lie You gotta wake up for big veg Cheers

Met her at the farmer’s market Reaching for the same misshapen fruit Our eyes met across the pears Then three months later, we were through Our love eroded quickly like The topsoil swept away by the rain She was like a soaring bird And I was the squirrel on the ground Just one feeder in the yard But plenty of seeds to go around We both wanted the same thing But I was scrambling as she flew away What is dust? What is grime? What’s the difference between soil and dirt? Has the dirt just been displaced by time? You And I Who’d have thought that we would grow apart? Now I lie awake in squalor Haunted by the specter of a filthy man Both of us have broken hearts And neither of us think we’ll ever love again He stopped bathing when she died But I stopped living even though I’m still alive What is dust? What is grime? What’s the difference between soil and dirt? Has the dirt just been displaced by time? You And I Who’d have thought that we would grow apart?

Simply being in my car Is all that I need for life to start And I know that I can’t drive too far But that’s alright with me I’m cruisin' at an easy pace 'Cause I know that life is not a race Might be stuck here in this plastic case But that’s alright with me Started out on the sugar drops Press a lever, get a hit of that dopamine Ain’t no problem when the sugar stops 'Cause I got myself a bright red smile machine What it brings Is better than classical conditioning Simply being in my car Is all that I need for life to start And I know that I can’t drive too far But that’s alright with me And the lab techs don’t know why I ride But I feel a driving need inside With these wheels beneath me, I can glide And that’s alright with me Don’t know why they keep testin’ me Always watching with electrodes in my brain But the car brings out the best in me And when I’m behind the wheel, it keeps me sane And when the car isn’t working right I unzip the hood to inspect the engine And every time I do, it makes me glad That zippers aren’t on skin And they aren’t on doors And they aren’t on fruit And they’re only on what need them! Simply being in my car Is all that I need for life to start And I know that I can’t drive too far But that’s alright with me And the primary investigator Wants to use me to find something greater But I’d rather fix the carburetor And that’s alright with me

about

This LMaM cycle, we've come back down to the earth to get nitty and perhaps even gritty. Just like the concept of a state cooking pot, this album will leave you wondering, "Why does this exist?"
